British Values at Sandfield Close Primary School
At Sandfield Close Primary school we actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs in order to ensure that children understand the importance of respect and leave primary school fully prepared for life in modern Britain. Throughout their time with us, children will be taught about the British values and they will be asked to reflect upon what these values mean to them. Children will focus upon key events that have happened nationally and globally in order to consider what they believe to be socially acceptable, as well as being given the opportunity to challenge stereotypes, misconceptions and so forth.
