Year 6 is the final year of primary school for the children before they embark on their journey to secondary school.
Children will be prepared both academically and socially in preparation for the transition to secondary school.
At the end of Year 6, children will sit the Key Stage 2 standard attainment tests (SATs). These tests will assess whether or not children are at the expected standard for their year group in reading, grammar and maths. The children will be prepared accordingly for these.
