In Year 5, children will be encouraged to take on more responsibility, become more independent and behave in a more mature manner.
Children in Year 5 will gain greater independence and confidence by being given more responsibility in their learning.
The children will start to explore broader concepts in areas such as maths and greater emphasis will be placed on technical aspects of subjects.
